The Power of the Poster
Take in the Bellevue Art Museum’s show, L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters, contemplate the poster’s role in society, and then pay a visit to PiP’s letterpress printing station to print a poster of your own! Kids of all ages are invited to answer the prompt, “What do you want to say to your community?” using handset wood type. A vibrant quilt of colorful messages will come together over the course of the day. See your message on display, and take a poster home with you, too.
