Press Power: Juneteenth Story Swap

with Estelita’s Library, Seattle
Saturday, June 15, 2024
12:00 pm – 12:00 pm PDT

Liberation, community, and stories

Come to Estelita’s Social Justice Library’s Annual Juneteenth Story Swap! This special event is all about liberation, community, and sharing stories. On Saturday, June 15, you can grab as many books as you like and share the ones you’ve loved with others.

What do you want to say to your community?

Partners in Print will be there with wood type and portable letterpress printing presses so you can share your own social justice message with your community. You’ll be able to print your message twice: once for you to keep, and again for an installation at Estelita’s that everyone can enjoy. What words will you share?

About the library

Located in South Seattle, Estelita’s Library is a community library and gathering place featuring books focused on social justice, ethnic studies, and liberation movements. The space and books are free to everyone and anyone.
