What’s a Shop Talk?

The challenge of preserving a craft that predates the Google search by centuries requires some printer-to-printer networking! Shop Talks are for talking shop: comparing notes on equipment and techniques, finding sources for supplies, or sharing opportunities and talents. We gather around the virtual composing stone for these uncensored, unrecorded, free roundtables hosted by genial moderators on a monthly basis. There are no stupid questions, and mansplainers will be digitally escorted to a solo breakout room.

About the Moderator

Joshue Molina
Los Ángeles, CA
Joshue Molina is a visual artist and designer of Salvadorian descent, born and raised in South East Los Ángeles. Molina earned a BFA in Photography and Digital Imaging from ArtCenter College of Design and an MFA in Graphic Design from Otis College of Art and Design. The power of imagery has always been a fixation for Molina; this innate focus has facilitated his creative growth. While his practice is image-based, it encompasses a range of analog processes in photography, printmaking, and design. He currently teaches and manages Archetype Press at ArtCenter College of Design.
