Catherine Alice Michaelis is the Associate Director of the Cynthia Sears Artist’s Books Collection. She has been making artist’s books under the imprint of May Day Press for 30 years.
Kadin Henningsen is the owner of Meanwhile…Letterpress, a trans owned letterpress collaborate resisting erasure through the power of print. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he studies nineteenth-century American literature, print culture, and transgender studies.
Kitty Koppelman is a self-taught print artist working in Olympia. She combines linocut images and letterpress words to convey optimistic, left-leaning ideas.
Ben Blount is a Detroit born letterpress printer that presses ideas onto paper. His work often explores questions of race and identity and the stories we tell ourselves about living in America.
